Plan your cold email ramp-up
New sending inboxes need time before they send at full pace. Tell us your goal and we lay out a simple week by week plan. Every number below comes from what you type.

How the numbers are worked out
- Emails a week =
emails a month × 12 ÷ 52(a year has 12 months and 52 weeks) - Emails a weekday =
emails a week ÷ 5 - Per inbox each weekday =
emails a weekday ÷ inboxes - Ramp-up weeks step up in quarters:
¼then½then¾then the full weekly number
Read this before you send. The quarter steps are a simple planning rule we picked so the climb is gentle and easy to follow. They are not a measured industry standard. This plan does not promise that any email lands in the inbox. That depends on things like your domain, your list, what you write and how people respond. If replies drop or bounces climb, slow down and hold the pace you are at.
Before week one
- Send from a separate domain, not the one your main business email runs on.
- Set up SPF, DKIM and DMARC on that domain. Your email provider has a guide for each.
- Only email people who fit what you sell. A short, careful list beats a big, random one.
- Put your real business address and a clear way to opt out in every email.
- Take people off your list the moment they ask.
